Our integration with Atomos lets you transfer content from your camera-mounted Atomos device to MediaSilo, so your team can start reviewing and editing media instantly. In this article, we’ll show you how to pair your cloud-enabled device with your Atomos account and then add MediaSilo as an upload destination.
Note that the camera-to-cloud option is available to paid Atomos Cloud Studio (ACS) accounts, Camera to Cloud and All-inclusive. You can upgrade your free account by logging in and clicking the Upgrade button in the top left. |
Supported Devices
Camera to Cloud is supported on the following Atomos devices:
- Ninja (2023)
- Ninja Ultra
- Ninja V/V+ (OS10 and OS11)
- Shogun (2023)
- Shogun Connect (OS10 and OS11)
- Shogun Ultra
- Zato Connect
Hardware Setup
1. First, place your SSD in the caddy.
2. Insert the caddy into your Atomos monitor-recorder.
3. Turn on the monitor.
4. Confirm that the SSD is recognized.
Integration Setup
From your monitor:
1. Select the gear icon and open the Wifi menu or the Ethernet menu.
2. Connect to a Wifi network, or plug in an Ethernet cable with internet access.
3. From the Connect menu, select Pair. You will see a three-word phrase on the screen.
You do not need to scan the QR code. In the next section, we’ll show you how to pair the device to your Atomos account and connect to MediaSilo from your desktop browser. |
From your computer (Mac or Windows):
1. Log in to your Atomos Cloud Studio account. Please make sure your plan includes Camera to Cloud (C2C).
2. Click Pair Device.
3. Enter the three-word phrase displayed on the monitor, and click Next.
4. Give your device a nickname. Then, click Pair.
5. The newly paired device is now listed. Click Add Destination.
6. Select MediaSilo.
7. Enter your API key and secret.
8. Lastly, select a project and folder and adjust your settings as needed. Click Save.
The camera-to-cloud integration is now set up. As long as MediaSilo is toggled on, proxy files will be uploaded automatically to the selected project and folder in MediaSilo.
If your files are not uploading to MediaSilo, please make sure that your Atomos device is connected to the internet and that its date and time settings are correct. A date and time in the future can result in upload issues.
